Show Class:

This vehicle is very likely to win top honors in its class. This type restoration transforms the automobile into an art form. Extreme care should be taken during transportation & storage, and the vehicle is rarely driven. A Show Class restoration returns the vehicle to its original authenticity. This vehicle utilizes origin stitch patterns on interior. Electrical components such as braided wiring, specific to the area. Use of lead, hammer and ping welding and many hours of priming and blocking, as well as original parts and equipment. The cost to restore this type of vehicle is considerably greater, due to preparation. (Click on image for larger view)

Driver class:

The vehicle looks fine from a short distance away. When viewed up close, it reveals signs that the chrome, moldings and the glass have not been removed and only masked off to cut the cost of bodywork. The finish may show evidence of machine sanding. The fenders, doors, hood, and deck lid have not been removed as in a  Show Class restoration process. Expect future deterioration in the seams, moldings and jams, since they were not properly processed in our shop's usual high-quality workmanship. Rust-out conditions: metal panels will be replaced for an additional charge, and larger tolerances of polyester skim coat are to be expected. This vehicle will not score high in judged shows. In a Driver Class restoration, no frame-off restoration will be contemplated or should be expected. The paint finish will be of a single stage. Base coat/clear coat finish will cost at least an additional $1500.00 plus additional priming and blocking. (Click on image for larger view)
